Overview

Agoda is one of Asia’s leading online travel agencies. Connect your property to reach millions of travelers through Bedmerge’s Channex integration.
You must have a direct contract with Agoda for your property before connecting.

Step 1: Enable Channel Manager in Agoda

Before connecting, enable channel manager mode in your Agoda account:

Access YCS Settings

Log into Agoda YCS and go to Settings > Property Settings

Open Optional Settings

Click “Optional Settings”

Enable Channel Manager

Tick the “enable channel manager mode” checkbox

Select Channex

Choose Channex from the dropdown list

Save

Click “Save” to apply changes
If you have issues, contact Agoda support through their Extranet messaging to request Channex connection.

Step 2: Create Agoda Channel

Go to Channels

In Bedmerge, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Channels

Create Channel

  • Click “Create New Channel”
  • Select “Agoda”

Enter Details

  • Title: Name for this connection (e.g., “Main Property - Agoda”)
  • Property: Choose your property
  • Hotel ID: Enter your Agoda Hotel ID

Test Connection

Click “Test Connection” to verify access

Step 3: Map Rooms and Rates

Agoda uses multi-occupancy mapping - you need to map rates for different guest counts.

Access Mapping

Click the “Mapping” tab after successful connection

Map Room Types

Match each Bedmerge room to Agoda room type

Map Occupancy Levels

For each room type, map rates for:
  • 1 Person Rate
  • 2 Person Rate
  • 3 Person Rate
  • And so on…

Verify Mapping

Ensure no “unmapped” items remain

Save

Click “Save” to confirm mapping

Multi-Occupancy Example

Room: Deluxe Double
├─ 1 Person → Single Rate
├─ 2 Persons → Standard Rate
└─ 3 Persons → Triple Rate
If you don’t support variable occupancy pricing, you can map the same rate to all occupancy levels.

Step 4: Activate Channel

Review Setup

Verify all rooms and occupancy levels are mapped

Activate

Click “Actions” > “Activate”

Managing Bookings

View all Agoda reservations in your Bookings tab:
  • Guest details
  • Check-in/check-out dates
  • Number of guests
  • Total booking value
  • Commission amount

Managing Rates

Update Agoda rates in the Rates tab:
  • Set rates for each occupancy level
  • Seasonal adjustments
  • Last-minute pricing
  • Special promotions
Sync Time: Rates update on Agoda within 15-30 minutes

Complete Property Setup

Ensure all property information, photos, and amenities are complete in Agoda before connecting.

Competitive Pricing

Maintain rate parity with other channels as required by Agoda policies.

Review Management

Monitor and respond to guest reviews to improve property reputation.

Troubleshooting

Solutions:
  • Verify Hotel ID is correct
  • Confirm channel manager mode is enabled in YCS
  • Check Channex is selected in Agoda settings
  • Contact Agoda support to verify connection
